"My name is Juan Carlos with Expert Village, and today we're going to be talking about softball for beginners. In this segment, we're going to describe how to play the outfield position. There's 3 types of outfielders and the requirements to play each position. In right field, it requires that you have the strongest arm among the 3 because your throws are not only to home plate, you also want to be able to make the throw across the field to third base. The center fielder, they have to have the most range, and they're captain of the outfielder. They should be able to cover the most ground. The one in left has the best glove. As most of the balls that are hit to the left side of the field, have to be caught by a person or dealt with a person with the best glove. My all-star centerfielder Christine Spencer will demonstrate that she will show range, the way she is catching the ball, and playing her position full filling the fact that she is able to cover not one side, but both sides of the field."
