Baseball is a sport played with a bat and a ball. In baseball, there are two teams of nine players each, and the goal of is to score runs by hitting a thrown ball with a bat and touching a series of four bases arranged ninety feet apart at the corners of a diamond. Offensive players take turns hitting while the defense tries to stop them from scoring runs by getting hitters out in a number of different ways. A player on offense can stop at any of the bases and try to score on a teammate's hit ball. The teams switch between offense and defense whenever the team on defense records three outs. One turn on offense for each team makes an inning, and nine innings make up a professional game. The team with the most runs at the end of the game is the winner.

"What we're going to talk about now is keeping your eyes on the ball. In some of our previous segments we've built up to a complete swing. We've talked about your base. We've talked about your feet. We've talked about your hands. And then we've talked about your timing. We've talked about your head. We've talked about all those different things. So we've built up to a full swing. What we're going to do now is kind of re-break it down. Talk about some of the other different steps. Little, minute details things like that, that help you become a better hitter. So, I'm in the box and as we talked about you want to keep your head, directly down towards the pitcher. Why do you want to do that? It's much easier for me to see the ball from the pitcher's hand if I have both my eyes looking at him. Than if I am looking out of the corner of one eye, I'm only looking out of one eye, or maybe the corner of this eye. It's much easier for you to pick up that little white thing coming out of his hand. it seems that you know, bright white ball in a guys hand would be easy to see. It's not. You can definitely lose it on a cloudy day, maybe there's an odd background behind him, something like that. So, keep your head, both eyes looking down at him. You're going to see the pitch coming. You want to track it all the way, all the way, all the way, coming down, coming down, through, you're going to swing. Here we go, keep your eyes down. Then you can look at the ball. That's keeping your head on the ball."
