"In this clip, we're going to talk about the proper way to change your oil in your rear differential. In this step, we're going to talk about the proper service procedure for breaking loose the bolts on our differential cover. I have my socket wrench and sockets. I'm going to roll underneath the vehicle. Alright, what I'm going to do here is, I've got my socket wrench and we're going to be breaking loose all these bolts you see around what is the differential cover. That's this piece of metal right here. A differential cover seals all of the axle fluid inside the axle case. In order to service it, we have to remove. They're all lefty loosey, righty tighty kind of bolts. We're not going to take them all of the way out. We're just going to loosen them up several turns. Alright, that's the procedure you?re going to use for loosening all of the bolts all the way around. You're going to go ahead and repeat that procedure for the rest of the bolts. All the way around. That'll be the proper way for you to loosen your rear differential cover bolts."
