How to Repair Bullseye Break in Windshield

"Hi, I'm Heath Heine with Clearview Windshield Repair on behalf of Expert Village. In this clip you are going to see how to repair a bullseye in your windshield. We are going to get started on the repair for a bullseye. Now bear in mind that we always want to get any of the repairs to come back to the bullseye state. We drill into the break, just kind of flaking out any of that loose glass and with a bullseye it is not too necessary to use your drill and pop method but we will just go ahead and do that anyway because sometimes you will have contamination that is in there and all we are doing is truing up that circle. Okay, after that has been done, you want to grab your bridge, screw back the feet and the injector, inject some resin into that tip, apply this to the glass and you always want to apply it in such a way that you can see around the break. Screw those feet down, touch down to the glass with this steel end injector and go immediately to a vacuum. Some of the different bridges might have an electric vacuum that draws or hand pump vacuum. This one actually has a spring load vacuum, then I am going back to pressure. It is forcing into that break, going to pull vacuum again where it draws the air out and just run that cycle a couple of times. Go back to pressure and now we are going to let the sun cure the resin and remember this is an ultraviolet curing resin so you either need the light from the sun or an ultraviolet lamp. "
