"Hi! I'm Dr. Adrienne Mulligan and I am the owner of Camp Verde Veterinary Clinic and I am here today on behalf of expertvillage.com and I am here to talk about cat grooming. Now this is the result of a nicely groomed cat and he had his groom about two weeks ago so he is growing out to a nice length. But generally he is a very long haired cat but he got groomed because he had some skin problems and I wanted to be able to treat them and bathe him properly so we had to do that of course with a little anesthesia. But anyway he has been clipped and a couple of things I want to show with you now are some maintenance things to do after a bath. A good time for after a bath is to apply your tea and tick preventative. So if you buy either Frontline which is just flea and tick or Revolution which is flea, tick, ear mites, heart worms, it does the whole nine yards. Either way you want to spread the hair on the back of the skull. It comes with a cap that you open it with and then you spread your fur and you dispense all the liquid that is inside onto the skin and then let it go back, don't touch it, let it dry and what it will do is protect him for one month from fleas and ticks and ear mites and heart worm and it will also help with deworming if he runs into any worms.
