"Hi! My name is Melissa Schenk on behalf of expertvillage.com today we’re discussing cruise traveling tips. Now as part of packing as we continue on, let’s discuss the carry-on bag a very important part of packing. Now with your carry-on bag of course if you have to get on an airplane before you board your ship make sure you have everything that is of value and of importance to you in this bag. What I mean by that is any kind of travelers’ checks whether they’re in your purse or your carry-on these are things that you’re going to want to keep on your possession. Always things like your passport, credit cards never put them in check luggage of course you’re always going to need those with you. Another really good thing to keep in mind is in your carry-on bag make sure you have any of your medications and also your travel documents, also some one dollar bills perhaps for tipping. Don’t forget about tipping very important when you’re on location but a lot of people forget to have some smaller bills in their pockets and also in your carry-on bag sometimes I know it happens very infrequently but it’s always a good idea to have at least one change of clothing. Because what happens is when you get on board of ship it does take a little while for your other luggage to get into your cabin, so you might want to change your clothes or it does happen very infrequently as I mentioned by sometimes they do loose your luggage and it does take up to 24 hours for it to actually get to the ship. So always a few extra pairs of clothes in that carry-on is a good idea. "
