" Hi! This is Bobby Hester on behalf of expertvillage.com. In this next clip, we’re going to demonstrate how to clean a scanner. A scanner has a glass table, and you can clean this with glass cleaner. On the outside, I like to use the electronic wipes that have just a little bit of alcohol in it. That safely cleans the outside of the unit. It does a great job, collects all the static, and the dust and so that works great. For the inside, it’s really critical to get the glass very clean because a little speck of dust, when you’re scanning a picture, can show up as a big white spot. You want to make sure and get everything absolutely clean. I’m going to get some glass cleaner, spray it on the table. I’ve got a very soft cloth here, and I’m just going to wipe it clean. Make sure all the dust is off, and then I’m going to flip it over to dry it. There we go. If there happens to be a just few little specks of dust, which you can’t seem to get out of the corners or anything, we can also get our electronic sprayer. That will blow off any last pieces of dust. That’s how to clean a scanner. "
