We are learning diabolo tricks. We have run through the whole series so far of feet, legs and one arm. So far everything we have done. The right hand makes the diabolo go and drives the motion of it and the left hand drives the trick. Well we are going to do over the other arm which is in translation over the left arm and this is a bit different because this one not only does the right arm drive the diabolo, the right arm and the right hand actually drive the trick as well. We are going to start by getting the diabolo to go fast and centering ourselves behind it. Make sure it is straight. Now just like with the right arm we are going to turn the stick inside so that our left arm is inside the string. Then what we are going to do is we are going to use our right hand to pop the diabolo over it. What makes this trick unusual and unique is that because the diabolo is going in the opposite direction of the spin, the trick itself actually slows the diabolo down. So we have to get it going super fast and keeping in mind that the toss is making the diabolo slow down and the diabolo itself is going on the string in the opposite direction. So therefore while we can do over the arm many, many times because just the motion of the diabolo going over the arm and the motion of the popping up with the left hand gives it a little bit of speed and keeps it going whereas over the other arm, over the left arm that is you are slowing it down.
