Hi, my name is Luke and this is how to condense a file. If you'd like to condense or compress a file in Windows, this is known as zipping. One way you can zip a file is to right click on the file, go down to send to and then hit the compress or zip folder. It'll then ask you for the file name or the zip name. Simply press enter to name it and now you have a zipped file, If you right click and hit properties you can see that the file will now be slightly smaller than the original file. But don't worry, none of the data will be lost and when you want to uncompress or unzip the file all you need to do is double click on it. And that's it.
