I'm Parker Pierce, and this is how to give text outlines in Paint. Text outlines can help make your words look a little fancier, they can also pop dark text from dark backgrounds or light text from light backgrounds. I'm going to show you one way to do that in Paint. Paint does not have a specific tool for text but there are work-arounds. Make a new document and fill it with a neutral brown color. Our fist step is to write something out in black and then write out the same thing in white. We'll be stacking them on top of each other but slightly offset. Next, zoom in on your text. The process of completing the border will be easier when the resolution is lower. Keep that in mind. I drop the local colors and make a quick first pass at low resolution. Fixing mistakes is very easy and quick. You can go back and apply as many layers of borders you want but you will have to do it manually.
