Hi, everyone. I'm hairstylist, Amanda Shackleton from Amandashackleton.com, and I'm here to show you a cut that works really well on hair that's fine and thinning. I think it's important when you have very fine hair that you have to realize the extent of which you can grow the length of your hair and a lot of women try to grow their hair too long and it ends up weighing their hair down and actually making them look like they have less hair than they do. So I usually prefer this kind of length for the hair, not to really let it get past the shoulders. Once it starts getting past the shoulders, it starts to look a little bit undone. So it's nice to kind of keep it a little bit on the shorter side. I always suggest a classic bob. I think a classic bob is beautiful. You can have it a little bit angled to the front. You can have it a little bit choppier. You can have it a little bit more layered and in fact, if you do have fine or thinning hair it's nice to layer your hair up a little bit because it will give you an extra little bit of body. So this is the style I've done for fine thin hair. I think it works really well on a lot of people. It's just up to your hairstylist to kind of make it their own and work it to the best advantage to your hair type. I'm Amanda Shackleton and I'm a hairstylist.
