Hi, I'm Emily Jones, Fitness Expert and Competitor here at Camp Hero Fitness in Southlake, Texas. I'm going to be demonstrating to you some of the best exercises while laying down using dumbbells. Two exercises that you can do while laying down using dumbbells for your chest and you can actually do this at home 'cause you can do them on the floor or if you're at the gym, do them on a bench. Make sure that your feet are flat on the floor. You're going to lay back and first, I'll demonstrate the chest press with dumbbells. You're going to start with 90-degree angles in both elbows and you're going to press it up. Coming back down to the starting position at the 90-degree angle in your elbows and back up. The other exercise that I'm going to show you is a dumbbell fly. You're going to put your palms facing each other, slight bend in your elbows and you're going to come down, keeping that slight bend in your elbows and back up, just like if you were hugging somebody. Make sure that your arms don't go past your shoulders in this exercise, putting too much strain into your rotator calf.
