Hi. This is Kristie Kennedy, licensed beauty professional. Today, we'll be discussing how to keep your eyeshadow from creasing. The first thing I'm going to do is start with a nice translucent powder to create a nice dry pallet before we do anything. And as you can see I'm just going to place it around the face here and especially in the eye area. Because we tend to get really oily on those eyelids and in our pores, often time due to the environment, sweating. So we create a nice dry base before we apply anything. Next I want to do a primer. I apply a primer and primer is great if you want to help that makeup adhere to the lid. It's going to allow those colors to really show forth their true pigment. You want a nice even coat. It helps your makeup to last a lot longer, up to eight hours and then some. So for durability primer is the way to go. Next we'll apply our color. We chose a nice antique green for success. Now just apply at the base and you can see that color already popping. A little bit goes a long way. And I'll do the same for the other eye, staying really tight, close to the lash line, short stroking motions from left to right. And make sure you blend out when you're applying your color for a nice smooth finish. And open up for me, and there you have it. That is how you apply primer to make your eyeshadow last a lot longer. This is Kristy Kennedy. Thank you so much for watching.
