Hello, my name is Jay Jones, Celebrity Peak Performance Coach and Fitness Minister. And today, we're going to talk about how you can work your gastrocnemius. Your gastrocnemius muscle is comprise of your calf muscles and one of the biggest functions of this is to move your foot up and down, up and down. So, one of the best ways that we can work your gastrocnemius is to do toe raises. So, we're going to do our basic toe raises. Feet together, chest up and we'll just go raise up and down. We're going to raise up and down. This is a fantastic way to get that gastrocnemius firing and one of the more better ways and one of the best ways shall I say, to really get it activated is to use our explosive squat. So, what we want to do is push the hips back and push off the toes. Push the hips back and push off the toes. One more time. Push off the toes.
