Hi, I'm Lori Greer from Atlanta, Georgia, and I'm here to explain how to access my employment insurance account. Most likely your employer carries some type of insurance policy on you. These policies are generally provided as fringe benefits with the exception of health insurance. Many employees might not even realize that they even have any type of coverage. To make the most of the policies you own, it is important to obtain and review your coverage. This will help you make the right decisions when it comes time to purchase additional insurance coverage for yourself and for your family. To find out what type of coverage that you have, the first place to start would be your human resources department of the company that you currently work for. They will have the information in their files about the coverage you have as well as the insurance companies the company is using. You will want to get the policy numbers for each policy from your HR representative. You'll want to contact the insurance company. Keep in mind though that sometimes the company you are with will use a third party to handle the policies they provide for employees. Ask the insurance company for a copy of your policy, then you'll want to review it carefully to determine how much additional coverage you may need if any. If you already have life insurance and disability coverage, that will help lower the amount of any additional coverage you may need to purchase. Again, I'm Lori Greer from Atlanta, Georgia, and that is how to access my employment insurance account.
