I'm Di-Anne Di Re, your public communication coach and trainer. Today, I am going to give you ideas on some games to play for your promotion. Promotional games are a great way to promote your company to potential customers, are a great gift idea for current clients and provide a way to get employees excited about a new product or service that your company may be offering. These games can be built from simple and inexpensive concepts and will help put your company one step ahead of the competition. Before any promotional campaign, plan a powerful marketing promotion. In order to create a successful promotion, proper planning is key. Here are six key ingredients for developing a winning strategy and when you address each one you'll have a plan for a promotion that will accomplish your business goals. Number one, clearly define your goals for the promotion. You know what your objective is, so make sure this purpose is stated clearly when planing your promotion. Whether you want to increase sales, create brand awareness or something else entirely different, it won't happen unless you plan on it. Number two, focus on your target audience. In any marketing plan, it is extremely important to know and understand who your target audience actually is. Define your ideal target customer group in terms of gender, age, hobbies, pass times and then create a promotion that would really speak to them. Number three, establish a budget. Establishing a budget for your promotional goals is very important. It will keep you from focus on your overall goal. The last thing you want is to spend more than necessary. Number four, choosing your promotional theme. It is important to create a consistent theme for your promotion campaign. Everything from marketing materials to event attractions to the games you play to your promotional giveaways all add to your theme and bring your promotion to life and have fun and have fun doing it.
