Hi, my name is Alex Cecilio, and I'm going to show you how to scatter a symbol in Illustrator. So, the first thing you're going to do, go to your Paintbrush tool, click it, and now you have your options up in the top so you're going to want to click down on this button and then go to the left and there's this little brush library's menu, go down to that and go to decorative and go to decorative scatter. And this is going to come up with your symbols and if you know how to make your own symbols, even better because then you can just add it to this list and then use this particular tool. So I'm going to choose just a couple different ones just to show you how it works. So you'll know when you are actually drawing because you'll see a little dotted line like that and it will help you determine where you are drawing and such and so you can do as many as you want, there's really no limit to how many you are using, but then the cool part is you can take your selection tool, select it and if you don't like that pattern you can always choose a different one and change it. And there you go. And that's how you decorative scatter. My name is Alex, and this is how you scatter on a path in Illustrator. Thank you.
