Hello, I'm Darryle Brown from brownconsulting.org. And today, we would discuss how to alleviate chaos in the workplace. Sometimes the demands of the job can feel so much out of control to the point that it feels chaotic. Here are some tips to help you to have a little more sense of control and to alleviate chaos in the workplace. Tip number one, give yourself praise for good work. The reason why this is important is first and foremost, it helps you to stay encourage. Praise makes us all feel good and sometimes we have that tendency to be our own worst critic. But, we also need to cred, to give ourselves credit when we do good things. That helps us to be in the right mindset and help to reduce the chaotic feelings we experience with the demands of, of the job. Tip number two, think of work related subjects. Sometimes when we, we have this tendency to take our work home, take our work, our, our the things that we're thinking about pertaining to work to lunch, we take them to other activities; sometimes we need to break away from it, even if we need to take a break away from the desk to get our minds off of work itself and helps us to ease the stress a little bit. That's very important to do. Think of other types of subjects to help you give that sense of balance when your, your thoughts are a little bit out of whack in the workplace. Tip number three, plan projects before taking action. This is very important especially if you have a major high priority project. And if you already have a plan in place, stick with the project, the, the plan that's, stick with the plan that's associated with that project. And this is very important because if you just dive into the project without having that sense of structure, that would definitely generate the chaos that you want to avoid. So, make sure that you have a plan in place, stick with that plan and move forward before you take action. Also, tip number four, socialize with your co-workers. Help to build those bridges, help to form those relationship so that when you are going to a stressful moment, you have people that can help to encourage you and also someone to be able to help you to de-stress. So, socializing with your co-workers really makes a huge difference in sharing your thoughts, communicating and also that your co-workers also want to help you. You'll, you'll discover that as you build those relationships, it makes a huge difference and helping you in those factors to ease the chaos and alleviate it in the workplace.
