Hi, I'm Jill Maria, and I'm a makeup artist and stylist at Salon 27. Today we're going to talk about how to apply loose powder foundation without making your skin look dry and wrinkled. The first thing that you want to do is apply an anti-firming moisturizer. You just want to apply a little all over the face, pay close attention to the wrinkled areas around the eyes and mouth, just rub that in. Also you can apply a concealer that will take care of some of the dark under the eyes and the age spots that you may have before you apply the foundation that we're going to apply. You can also apply it to the neckline and go down the jaw. Okay and then we're going to apply the pressed powder foundation. like to use just a loose powder brush and just apply it in sweeps to her face in upward motions. You can come down the neckline just a little. You just want to put a light coating. Applying too much foundation accentuates the wrinkles and fine lines rather than hiding them. Be sure that you get under the dark area under the eye and on the lid. Then apply it to the forehead. So there you have it, that is how you apply the loose powder foundation without making the skin dry and wrinkled. I'm Jill Maria with Salon 27.
