Hi, I'm Amanda Perna from, and today I'm going to tell you how to dress correctly for your figure. Today, I'm going to be showing you two different types of body types. There are many different types of body types. There's an inverted triangle, there's an hourglass shape, there's a square shape, there's a triangle, there's an oval, and there's a million other different versions of that. So, today I'm going to show you - Susan here is an inverted triangle. What that means is that her shoulders are wider than her hips. A lot of times people think your figure has to do with your weight, or anything like that. That's not the case. It's all about your bone structure. So, now matter how much weight you have on, you will always have the same body type. So, Susan is an inverted triangle. So, like I said, that means her shoulders are wider than her hips. So, she has a strong shoulder. So, what we did here is to just tone down her shoulder a little bit more, and accentuate the hips. We pair a short that has some detail - a little bit more going on at the waist. So, it accentuates her hips. We also brought in a ruffle on the top, so it draws the attention more towards the center of her body and away from the shoulder, and kind of narrows her in. I am an example of an hourglass figure. That means that my shoulders and my hips are pretty much the same size. So, the best thing to do for an hourglass figure is to accentuate your waist. You can either do that with a wrap dress, which is one of my favorite things to wear - very easy to wear, or you could use a belt or something of that sort. Like I said, there are many different body types, and there's different ways that you could dress for all of them, and these are two examples. Thanks for watching.
