Hi I'm Colleen Mullaney for and don't you hate it when your Christmas lights go out? I mean, ah, makes me nuts. So here's how to fix a burned out Christmas light. First of all you need to check your fuse. Now your fuse is normally found in your plug and here it's just a little panel, you pull it down and you check your fuses. Now if they're burnt half way down that means they're done, they're toast. So they need to be replaced. So take them out and replace them. Then plug in your lights and if they're still out, then you need a tester and there are several kinds of testers and they're available where you buy your lights, in hardware stores or home improvement centers. And either there are a couple of kinds. Now either you can take your light and you can insert it into the tester and it will let you know immediately if that bulb is good or not or you can press it against the tester and it will tell you if your bulb is good or not. So, these are some great tips on how to fix a burned out Christmas light to keep your holidays all aglow. Thanks for watching. I'm Colleen Mullaney.
