Car Theme Teen Boys Bedroom Decorating Ideas

Save

Many teen boys enjoy sports and activities such as car racing. Even if they are not into racing, many boys are still interested in cool cars. Consider creating a car theme for your teen boy's bedroom. Keep in mind his age and don't make the room too youthful or he won't feel comfortable in the space.

Checkered Flag

  • Hang a black and white checkered flag, which you can find at most party stores, horizontally on the wall that is opposite to the bed. Hang the banner high up on the wall.

Walls

  • To create a car theme in your teen boy's bedroom, paint the walls and ceiling a light blue color. Paint the door frames and window white. If you have a large wall available, paint a large picture of a race track. First, draw a gray race track, with a dashed line in white. Use paint to color it in. Purchase small toy cars at a party store or toy store and glue them on the track. You can also simply paint images of race cars on the track.

Bed

  • Add a simple metal bed to your teen boy's bedroom. Use white sheets and a black comforter on the bed. Use pillowcases that are white and black checkered. Add throw pillows in green, red and yellow. The dresser should be white or light wood. A red chair next to the bed is an appropriate addition to the bedroom as well.

Accessories

  • Accessories will jazz up a car-themed bedroom. Throughout the room, add framed posters of race cars. Place white or black table lamps in the room or on the desk. Fluffy white rugs work well in his bedroom as well. Add other decorative items such as black and white checkered picture frames and desk accessories.
