  1. Germs

The Electrowiz Electricity kit comes equipped with batteries and all the materials needed to conduct the experiments. It is recommended for ages five and up and costs approximately $20.

    Chemistry

    • Recommended for ages four and up, My First Chemistry Kit by Scientific Explorer provides children with their own microscope and has an instructional booklet that leads them through chemistry experiments. During these experiments, kids learn about lenses, magnification and how to make observations. They are guided in their first activity to make an ornament using chemistry properties.     Color

    • The Blast of Color Science Kit is recommended for ages four and up and is manufactured by Be Amazing Toys. This kit teaches kids how to measure, observe and classify, which are all basic skills used by scientist. With this kit, kids use the help of a color wheel to conduct experiments that make colored water, mix colors to make more colors and turn crystals into rainbows. Pricing for the Blast of Color Science Kit runs from about $15 to $20.
