How to Change Your Caller ID on a MetroPCS Cell Phone
Changing your caller ID on your MetroPCS cell phone is an option that is available at no additional charge. By default, when you place a call from your cell phone to a caller ID-equipped phone, the account holder's first and last name are displayed. Changing the ID gives you the option of displaying a non-account holder's name or another preference, such as a business name. When you update your caller ID information, it may take up to a few days before it is updated on non-MetroPCS phones.

Dial "611" on your MetroPCS cell phone to contact customer service. Alternatively, you can dial 1-888-863-8768 from a landline or other mobile phone.

Say "Continue" when prompted and enter your 10-digit MetroPCS phone number and PIN number.

Press the option to speak with a customer service representative. The representative may ask you to verify your billing information and phone number again.

Provide the representative with the new caller ID information. Wait for the representative to update the information and provide confirmation of the changes.

Press the "Power" button on your phone to turn off the device. Turn the phone back on after one minute.
