Web browsers do not always read and display Web pages in the same fashion.

The Internet Explorer Web browser, included and enabled by default in the Microsoft Windows Vista operating system, features backward compatibility settings for websites using older technology that does not display correctly with newer Web browsers. However, if the older technology websites are updated to resolve display issues, or Compatibility View settings are causing issues with websites that use newer technology, you can disable Compatibility View in the Internet Explorer Web browser.

      Open the Internet Explorer Web browser click the "Tools" menu item near the top of the window.

      Click the "Compatibility View Settings" menu item. Click to clear the "Display all websites in Compatibility View" check box. Click each website listed in the "Websites you've added to Compatibility View" box and click the "Remove" button.

      Click the "Close" button near the bottom of the "Compatibility View Settings" window.
