How Do I Get to My Inactive Employees in Quickbooks Online?
Quickbooks lets you make certain employees inactive without moving them from the database completely. QuickBooks Online does so as well but, confusingly, it does it under another name. "Deleting" employees in the online version is the same as making them inactive offline. All their information remains, available to restore at any point, but they do not show up in your regular employees list. Getting to and viewing your inactive employees is easy in Quickbooks Online. From there, you can restore any or all of them to active status if you choose.

Log into your Quickbooks Online account.

Click "Employees," then "Employees List."

Click "Related Reports."

Click "Deleted Employees." This will show all your inactive employees, with all their information still there.
