How to Rotate in Fireworks

Adobe Fireworks is a tool used for editing and creating graphics. Adobe Fireworks was originally developed by Macromedia, which Adobe purchased in 2005. The product is one of several products released by the software manufacturer within its Adobe Creative Suite. Fireworks comes with a number of tools and graphic effects that a user can use to make changes and edits to their images.

  • Open Adobe Fireworks.

  • Click “File” followed by “Open.”

  • Locate and select your graphic, and then click “Open.” Your graphic is now displayed on the Fireworks canvas screen.

  • Click to select your graphic on the screen. Go to the top menu bar in Fireworks and click "Modify” followed by “Transform.” Select an option for rotating your graphic, selecting from “Free Transform,” “Skew,” “Rotate 180,” “Rotate 90 CW” or “Rotate 90 CCW.” These options will rotate your graphic on the Fireworks canvas screen.

  • Click “File” followed by “Save as” to save your work.
