There will be times when you cannot pick up your phone. You may be attending class or an important business meeting. If you received an incoming call, you may want to know who called you and at what time. Alternatively, you may want to know who is behind all of the private or restricted calls you have been receiving. Use the star 69 service to find out more information about the call and the caller. Your mobile provider will help you set one up for use.
Contact your mobile provider. Verify your account information with the representative. Ask to add the "*69" service to your plan.
Allow your phone to ring. The call will go directly to your voice mail.
Dial *69 after the phone quits ringing. This service only provides information from the very last call.
Listen for information about the caller. The service will tell you the person's phone number and the date and time of the call. Write down this information, if necessary.
Follow the prompts to call back the caller.
