How to Connect to NetZero Using a New Computer
If you haven't used NetZero, or haven't used it in a while, you may not understand what's involved in the setup process. NetZero is still a viable way to connect to the Internet even for a new computer. How you set it up for a new or old computer is very similar. If not having the software on your new computer is a concern, that's easily fixed and setting up NetZero will be quite simple.

Go to the NetZero website to create your NetZero account and choose the plan you want. Complete the application that requires your personal information, payment information and a username and password.

Obtain the NetZero software. During account setup you can choose to have NetZero mail you a CD or download the software from the site. You can download and save the file to the computer and then put it on a CD to use on a different computer.

Install the NetZero software. If it's on a CD from NetZero, click on the "Install Application" option when it automatically loads. If using a CD that you got by copying the software onto the CD, copy the contents onto your hard drive and then double click on the application to install it.

Click on the application to connect to NetZero. Make sure the phone line is connected to your modem. Enter your username and password that you chose and you should be connected in less than a few minutes.
