How to Reset a Samsung Alias 2


If other troubleshooting options have failed, reset the Samsung Alias 2 back to factory settings to try to repair problems you are experiencing. Resetting the Samsung Alias 2 will permanently delete all of your contacts, pictures, videos and downloaded files and applications. The reset will also restore the Alias 2 settings and preferences back to factory configuration.

  • Press the "OK" button to open the main menu.

  • Select the "Settings & Tools" option. Then select "Phone Settings" from the sub-menu that appears.

  • Select "Security." Enter your lock code when prompted; then press the "OK" button.

  • Select "Restore Phone" from the "Security" page that appears.

  • Use the phone's navigation keys to highlight the "Yes" option. Press "OK" to confirm.

  • Press "OK" again. Another lock-code prompt appears. Enter your lock code; then press "OK" to reset the phone.
