Online scavenger hunts can be fun even without all the exercize you'd get otherwise.

Everyone likes a scavenger hunt, and making one for the Internet can be a great way to share little known facts and have a lot of fun without participants having to leave their house. Putting together any good scavenger hunt will take time and focus in order to make it both fun and challenging. If you put your mind to it you can make a good hunt that people will remember.

Instructions

    • 1

Pick a theme or general idea to focus on. The Internet has such a variety of information that unless you narrow your focus it may be too difficult and uninteresting.

    • 2

Visit a variety of websites that contain specific, or even esoteric information. Rather than searching randomly for information, if you look at specific sites that have specific information it will be reasonable for people to find it. For example, look at a website that covers plastic manufacturing for information about plastics rather than using a general interest site.

    • 3

Assign each question a point level, and make the hard questions worth more. This will cause people to use a strategy on the scavenger hunt and make the event more interesting.
