How to Upload an E-Book
An e-book is made available in an electronic format and are most often in PDF form. When writing an e-book, it is imperative that you format the book properly. Making an e-book available on your website can allow you to publish your book without investing a lot of money. Whether you choose to upload and sell your e-book through your website or a third party e-book provider, it is important to know how to present your e-book in a professional manner.

Format your e-book into a PDF file. If you have Microsoft Word 2010, go to "Save" and then choose "Save type as PDF" or "*pdf file."

Launch Dreamweaver or the website development program that you use for your website.

Open the Web page where you want to place the PDF link to your e-book.

Go to the "Files" panel in Dreamweaver or another website development program and make sure you can access the file of your e-book.

Click "Insert Hyperlink" from the Dreamweaver or other Web page development menu.

Choose "Select File" and choose the PDF file for your book.

Click "OK." The text to your e-book PDF file should appear.

Publish your Web page by choosing "Synchronize" or "Publish."

Format your e-book into a PDF file.

Set up an e-mail account and make sure that the name is short and direct. You can also use an e-mail address that is already established. It is often considered more professional if you use an e-mail account related to the name of your company or book, such as contact@nameofbook.com.

Set up a PayPal account by going to PayPal (see Resources) and choosing whether you want a personal or business account and entering your personal information, including your e-mail address and desired log-in information, name, address and phone number. Click "Agree and Create Account."

Determine how much you want to charge for your e-book by determining which model you want to follow: the price to penetrate or the price to skim. Price to penetrate means pricing your e-book lower than your competition and finding a price that maximizes your e-book profits and the number of e-books you sell. Price to skim is when you price your e-book high and bring in a larger profit, but often reduce the number of customers.

Create a free account on PayLoadz (see Resources) by entering your e-mail address and passwords and agreeing to the terms of use.

Go to "Selling" and then "Create a New Product" and enter the name of your item, the item ID number, the price and the custom thank you.

Follow the prompt to select and upload your file to PayLoadz.
