How to Learn Zumba Moves
Zumba is a type of dance that incorporates Latin rhythms and moves into a high-intensity, calorie-burning fitness routine. Created by Columbian fitness instructor Alberto "Beto" Perez, the Zumba craze began in Miami, Florida in 2001, and by 2005 the Zumba Academy was born, featuring licensed instructors and classes. Zumba dance fitness is now featured in gyms nationwide including classes for body sculpting, circuit training, aquatic Zumba classes, Zumba for kids and Zumba for senior citizens. Zumba can be learned at home thanks to online resources before graduating to a dance class.
