You can change your cursor color and size in Windows XP.

The cursor lets you keep track of where the mouse is located on your computer's screen. The default menu cursor color for Windows XP is black, but it is possible to change the color. Windows XP cursor color can be changed from black to white, or it can be changed to an inverted color (a negative image of the cursor).

      Access the Windows XP "Start" menu.

      Select the "Control Panel" option.

      Select the "Ease of Access" option, followed by the "Ease of Access Center" option.

      Select the "Mouse Settings" option, followed by "Make the Mouse Easier To Use."

      Click the radio button next to the color you wish to use for your cursor. Choices include black, white and inverted colors. You can also choose cursor size at this time. The default size is regular. Additional size choices are large and extra large.

      Scroll down until the "Apply" and "Cancel" buttons appear at the bottom of the window. Click "Apply."

      Exit out of the window by clicking the red "X." The cursor color change (and size change if designated) is now in effect.
