Instructions

  1. Front Bumper

    • 1

Open the hood of the Miata and place the front bumper on the car. Use your legs to hold the bumper in place so it doesn't fall. Install the plastic clips into the holes along the top inside lip of the bumper. Once these clips are pushed in, the bumper will stay in place.

    • 2

Get underneath the front bumper and reach behind the bumper to the backside of the fog lights. Plug the wiring hanging from the front of the car into the back of the lights.

    • 3

Reach behind the bumper to the seam where the bumper and front fender meet, just behind the headlights. Use the ratchet and a 10-mm socket to install and tighten three bolts on each side.

    Rear Bumper

    • 4

Place the rear bumper on the end of the Miata. Have someone hold it in place for you. Get underneath the bumper and install and tighten the three bolts on the seam where the bumper meets the rear quarter-panel of the car. Use a ratchet and 10-mm socket for this. Do this for each side of the car and the bumper will stay in place.

    • 5

Look up at the underside of the rear bumper, near the top, for a row of eight holes. Install 10-mm bolts in these holes using a ratchet and 10-mm socket.

    • 6

Get next to the rear tires and look at the back edge of the bumper. Install and tighten four screws here using a Phillips screwdriver.
