How to Play 2 Player "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas"

In "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas" it is possible to play with a second person in local multiplayer mode. You can either play with another person in free roam, or have two-player rampages with set objectives. To do this you must find a co-op icon. These are only in certain locations in the game world and do not change locations. When the second player enters the game, he will have the same weapons as player one but not the armor.

Instructions

1. Find a co-op icon. It looks like two red people next to each other and spins. Find a map of the locations of these icons in the Resource section.

2. Step into the co-op icon and press "X" on the second controller.

3. Pick a character for player two from the selection screen and confirm your choice.

Tips & Warnings

• Cheats applied in co-op mode will affect both characters.

• Co-op mode ends when one of the players is killed.
