How to Export a Sound Record From an iPhone thumbnail
iPhones connect to computers via a USB cable.

If you have an idea while you are out and about and don't have access to a pen and paper, your iPhone can save you. You can use the voice memo function on an iPhone to record notes that you can't get down on paper or ideas for songs that come to you when you're out of the studio. You can also use the application as a Dictaphone if you're conducting an interview or attending a lecture. You may later want to transfer the sound that you've recorded to use or manipulate on other devices.
