How to Convert an OmniForm File

OmniForm is a program that allows you to convert forms into digital files for use online or as printed documents. OmniForm files can be printed out or sent in e-mails for individuals to fill the forms out. A commercial product, the software costs $99.99 as of November 2010. Easily convert OmniForm files to RTF, which stands for Rich Text format for viewing in Mircosoft Word or any other text editor capable of working with RTF files.

Instructions

      Start the OmniForm program and open the OmniForm file you want to convert.

      Click "File" and "Save As." You can rename the file if you so desire.

      Choose the .RTF file extension from the file format drop-box and click "Save." This automatically converts the OmniForm file for viewing in Microsoft Word or any other text editor program.

Tips & Warnings

  • Always make backup copies of OmniForm and document files and store them on a portable storage device in case of hard drive failure.

  • Turning your computer off while converting file formats can corrupt the files.
