      Trace the bracket on the wall, including the screw holes. This allows for less slippage during attachment, and also allows you to start the screws in the holes without bracing the bracket up. Start the screws into the requisite holes with a light tapping of the hammer--enough to embed the screws into the wall--then remove the screws. Place the bracket on the wall and screw it into place. When the bracket is attached to the wall, tighten the screws a little at a time to ensure a smug and even fit onto the wall.
