How to Uninstall the MSN Gaming Zone

How to Uninstall the MSN Gaming Zone thumbnail
The MSN Gaming Zone software allows you to play several different games without having to actually download the game to your computer.

Microsoft's MSN Gaming Zone was an online game program that allowed the user to access free and "pay to play" games hosted by the MSN Gaming Zone website. The MSN Gaming Zone has been discontinued and replaced by MSN Games. Since MSN Gaming Zone is no longer useful for playing games, it software can be uninstalled to free up more space on the computer hard drive.

Instructions

    • 1

Click on the "Start" button in Microsoft Windows and select "Control Panel" in the menu that appears.

    • 2

Open "Add or Remove Programs." Verify that you are in the "Change or Remove Programs" window by checking the left sidebar. Locate MSN Gaming Zone in the list or programs, which is alphabetically ordered, and click on it once to select it. The uninstall wizard will now launch.

    • 3

Click "OK" in the first window of the uninstall wizard. Wait for the uninstaller to uninstall the program and click "OK." Close the "Control Panel" and "Add or Remove Programs" window.

    • 4

Expand the Start menu and select "My Computer." Double-click the main hard drive, which is, by default, "Local Disk (C:)" and open the "Program Files" folder.

    • 5

Double-click the "MSN Gaming Zone" folder and delete every folder and file except the "Windows" folder.
