How to Reset Pansat Remote Controls

Pansat is a brand of digital satellite receiver owned by Panarex, a multinational electronics corporation with headquarters in Sun Valley, California. The receiver comes with a programmable remote control for controlling the Pansat device and your TV, VCR or DVD player. You can reset the Pansat remote to work with a different device if you replace any part of your home entertainment system or have bought the Pansat receiver secondhand. Resetting and reprogramming your Panset remote is straightforward and will only take a few seconds.

Instructions

1. Switch your TV on.

2. Press and hold down the "TV" and "OK" buttons on the remote control. The red "Power" button will light after two or three seconds.

3. Point the remote at the TV, VCR or DVD player and enter the three-digit code from the brand list in the Pansat manual (see Resources.)

4. Wait for the device to switch off, indicating a successful code entry. If the device does not switch off, repeat steps 1 to 3 and try a different code.

5. Press "OK" on the remote control. The red "Power" light will blink three times to confirm your new code.
