1
Remove any traces of oil on your face by washing with warm water and soap. Dry your face with a towel. Pull your hair back by putting it in a ponytail or with hair clips.
-
2
Use a makeup sponge to apply a base coat of white paint to your entire face. Start with a small amount of paint on your nose and work outward towards your hairline. Repeat this technique on your forehead, cheeks and chin. Make sure that you cover the area under the chin, too. Apply the paint to your eyelids, eyebrows and lips. Apply as many layers as you desire. The thicker the paint, the more it will resemble a mask.

3
Use the makeup brushes to paint large triangles, curvy lines or sharp angles on your eyebrows. Use bold shades of paint on your eyebrows such as blue, black, purple or red for a freaky effect.
-
4
Paint oversized shapes such as large triangles with sharp angles or circles around your eyes in a dark color. Or you may prefer to paint flames over your eyes in blue, purple or black paint.
-
5
Use your fingertips to smudge a little green or gray paint beneath the eyes so they look a bit sunken in.
-
6
Paint a large circle on your nose with bright red paint or dark maroon paint.
-
7
Use black eyeliner to draw long sharp angular lines that extend past your lips to create a scary grimace. Fill in the area around the mouth with bright red or dark purple paint. Or you could paint your lips in a color that contrasts the one used around the mouth for a scarier effect.
-
8
Draw circles, diamonds, or rectangles over your cheeks with the black eyeliner. Fill in these shapes with dark, bold colors.
