Most butane lighters are designed to be easy to use and refill. The Eddie Bauer butane lighter is no exception. It works with a click of the ignition button and features an adjustable flame that can be set to your preference level. The bottom of the Eddie Bauer lighter has an easily accessible fill hole and the front panel features a window to allow you to see just how much butane is in your lighter.
Things You'll Need
- Can of compressed butane
- Soft cloth
Turn the flame-adjustment screw, next to the butane filler hole, all the way to the left with your fingertips to lower the flame. If the flame is not completely lowered, you will not be able to fill the lighter's reservoir.
Place the tip of your compressed butane can into the butane filler hole in the bottom of the lighter.
Hold the lighter with one hand with the window facing you and press up on the bottom of the butane can with the other.
Observe the window as you fill the lighter. Pull the butane can out of the hole once the reservoir is full.
Wipe the Eddie Bauer lighter with a soft cloth to remove any butane residue.
Turn the flame-adjustment screw back to the right to return your flame to its original height.
