How to Register Foreign Domain Names

How to Register Foreign Domain Names thumbnail
Foreign domain names are often several times more expensive than traditional domains.

Every website must have an associated domain name. The domain name is the address users input to navigate their Web browser to the main website. The domain name consists of all of the characters between the "www." and the domain extension, such as .com or .org. Foreign domains use extensions that normally coincide with part of the country name. Brazil uses ".br" and France uses ".fr," for example. Not all domain registrars that handle traditional domain extensions offer foreign domain registration. This often makes registering a foreign domain expensive.
