How to Export Your Recordings on an iPhone

The Apple iPhone can do many things. One of those is record voice memos. These memos can be kids playing, concerts, lectures or business meetings. Some of these recordings can be valuable memories which you'll want to save and share with others. Exporting these recordings to any computer is simple through the iTunes software.

Instructions

1. Connect the iPhone to the computer using the USB cable.

2. Open "iTunes" by selecting it from the "All Programs" menu of the "Start" menu. If iTunes is not yet installed on the computer, it is available for a free download from the Apple website (see Resources).

3. Select "iPhone" from the left side menu in iTunes.

4. Select "Music" from the top toolbar.

5. Place a check next to "Include Voice Memos."

6. Click "Sync." The recordings on the iPhone are now exported to the computer.
