How to Get a Latios or Latias in Pokemon Pearl
Latios and Latias, the eon Pokémon, do not appear naturally in "Pokémon Pearl," but you can migrate them from your Game Boy Advance (GBA) "Pokémon Ruby," "Sapphire" or "Emerald" game to "Pokemon Pearl" using the dual slot on your Nintendo DS that accepts GBA cartridges. Once migrated into the "Pearl" game, you will find Latios and Latias in the Pal Park on Route 221 where you have the opportunity to catch them with a Park Ball. The Pal Park is accessible after you receive the National Pokedex from Professor Oak.

Tips & Warnings
You can migrate up to six Pokémon from each GBA cartridge per day.
Playing "Pokémon Pearl" with a GBA game in the dual slot also releases several other Pokémon into the Pal Park that cannot be found in the game any other way such as Nuzleaf, Teddiursa, Seedot, Lunatone and Lotad. You do not need to go through a migration process for these Pokémon to appear, just have the GBA game in the dual slot.
Latios is available in GBA "Pokémon Ruby." You can find Latias in GBA "Pokémon Sapphire." You can catch either Latios or Latias in GBA "Pokémon Emerald," but you must choose one or the other.
Migrating a Pokémon from your GBA game to "Pokémon Pearl" removes that Pokémon permanently from your GBA game.
Pokémon cannot migrate if they have learned an HM move. Make sure Latios and Latias forget any HM moves before you try to migrate them.
