How to Uninstall Flash From Chrome

The Chrome browser is a new browser provided by Google. At some point, you may have inadvertently installed Flash when installing another application. To remove flash from the Chrome browser, download the uninstaller then run it.

  Download the Adobe Flash Uninstaller.

  Exit currently running applications.
- 3
  
  Navigate to where the uninstaller is installed.
- 4
  
  Double-click the uninstaller. The next time you open your browser, Flash will no longer be installed.

For anyone landing on this, this no longer works since Chrome now integrates the Flash player. Now what you do is enter about:plugins in the Chrome address bar and click 'Disable' under Flash. If your intention is to then install the debugger version of the Flash player, install as usual and then go into about:plugins, click Details, and disable only the entry for file gcswf32.dll, leaving the entry with file NPSWF32.dll enabled.
