How to Clear the Altavista Search History
Altavista is a search engine that allows you to search for content including news, videos and images. If you are using the Altavista search toolbar, you can search for content no matter where you are on the web. This browser add-on also keeps a record of your previous searches so you can search for the same content again quickly any time you want. If you prefer to keep your searches private, you can delete your Altavista search history any time you want.

Launch the web browser you installed the Altavista toolbar bar to.

Click the "Altavista" logo located to the left of the toolbar on the top of your browser window. You should see a list of your previous searches.

Scroll down the search history and click the "Clear Search History" link. Your search history is deleted.
