Create address labels from your Outlook contacts by using the Mail Merge feature in Microsoft Word 2007. The Mail Merge Wizard walks you through the process of selecting the data sources for your labels. When prompted, select the Outlook file containing the contacts you want to use. After the data source is selected, you can select the format of the labels and then proceed to printing the labels.

      Open Microsoft Word 2007 and select the "Mailing" tab on the ribbon. Click the "Start Mail Merge" button and select "Labels." In the Printer Information section, select "Page Printers." In the Label Information section, pick the label vendor and product number of your labels. Click "OK."

      Click the "Select Recipients" button on the ribbon. Select "From Outlook Contacts." The Choose Profile dialog box appears. Select your Outlook profile and click "OK." The Select Contacts dialog box appears. Select the contact folder you want to use for your labels. Click "OK."

      Review the Mail Merge recipient list. If you want to remove contacts from the list, uncheck their names from the list. Click "OK." Add fields to the label by clicking "Insert Merge Field." Select the first name from the "Insert Merge Field" section and press the space bar. Select the last name from "Insert Merge Field" and hit the "Enter" key.

      Add the address, city, state, and zip code by clicking the "Insert Merge Field" button. Select the "Preview Results " button to ensure the label information is formatted properly. Add this new label format to the other labels by clicking the "Update Labels" button on the ribbon.

      Click "Finish and Merge" to finalize the label creation process. Select "Edit Individual Documents" to see the labels prior to printing them. Word creates a new document displaying the new address labels.
