      Clean the windshield with a clean cloth. Dry the windshield completely with a hair dryer.

      Apply windshield or glass glue in the crack. Auto parts stores sell glass kits that include the glue specifically used in cracks and chips.

      Move down the crack with the applicator tool provided to make sure that it gets into the crack as deeply as possible. Move up and down the crack as you are applying in a slow, steady motion. Use a clean cloth to wipe the excess.

      Allow the glue to dry for at least one hour, several hours if possible. Wipe the window clean.
